This helmet appears to still have the original paint. It is marked: Ord. Dept. 1918 on the under side of the liner. The liner is good condition. The liner has the netting with the pull string with original pad. The pad is worn, but still present. The leather chin strap is present. The strap is soft and flexible. It has some surface cracks.
