Description: WWI German Model 1898/05 Butcher Bayonet measuring 19.75" overall with a blade length of 14.5". Very good overall showing some age patina, wear, use, great working press-stud mechanism. Ricasso stamped, "SIMSON&CO./SUHL". Spine, top of blade stamped, Crown over W16 over cypher. The pommel shows a triple stamping. Two cyphers on the sides and one in the center that is a crown over "RO", or possibly "RG". Good looking walnut grips. All tight, no looseness. No scabbard. See photos.
