WESTERN ELECTRIC Sound Systems Catalog - 1947 Edition

Description: This listing is for a C/D Rom of a very rare, original 116 page catalog of Western Electric Sound Systems. It is not dated, but as best as can be determined probably dates from 1947 … a couple of years before Western Electric was broken up by the government in an anti-trust / monopoly action. This catalog is very deluxe, is printed in two colors, with fine half-tone photographs, illustrations, graphs and charts. It really set the standards for pro-audio catalogs for many years to follow. For example, the Cardioid Microphone 639A and 639B is described on four pages, with pictures, graphs, and polar plots. (See illustrations above.)
