DESCRIPTION A Single Bit Axe with phantom bevels that is marked Wards Master Quality on both the head and handle; the handle is also marked 7106. It weighs approximately 4 pounds 10 ounces, total length is 35 inches, the head measures approximately 7½ inches from bit to poll and 4¾ inches from toe to heel on the bit. The head has dings, scratches, pitting and someone hammered on the poll and peened the edges over but there are no cracks and I hand filed the edges down the best I could; the cutting edge will need sharpened. The handle has dings, scratches and some extra steel wedges but it is tight in the eye. Please e-mail me with any questions or if you would like extra photos.
