Description: Annemarie Davidson was known for her Southern Californian freeform copper enamels. She was born in 1920 in Germany and later moved to Sierra Madre, California, where she died in 2012. She trained as an enameled copper artist in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and was influenced by some of the finest enamelists of the 20th century. Her work is outstanding. This 7.5" copper plate features a tree decorated with Italian glass beads known as millefiori -- just beautiful!
