Vtg 40-50's Doubl-Glo Electra-Lite Star Christmas Tree Top Silver Pink Blue Back

Description: For sale is this vintage Doubl-Glo brand Reflecto Lite Star Christmas Tree Topper. The face is silver and hot pink. The reverse is blue. The topper and original box was manufactured by Paper Novelty Mfg. Co., N.Y. I am not exactly sure how this thing works. There was no electric cord in the box, and there was not really room for one. Paper Novelty Mfg. Co., N.Y. was incorporated in the State of New York on June 20, 1912 and dissolved on September 25, 1991. I have seen boxes of "fireproof" snow and silver Icicles by this company. I speculate that this tree topper was manufactured sometime in the 1940's or 1950's. It has that kind of look. When I acquired it at a recent church Christmas decoration rummage sale, it had 3 lights with it. I have added 2 more different color lights and tested all 5 of them that you will get with this tree topper. I am not sure if lights came with the box, but I am selling them with this listing. If you love the true vintage Christmas look, you will love this item for the box and the topper.
