Description: Vintage LP: Sam Cooke - "My Kind Of Blues" - Play Tested - Mono - VG Jacket / VG+ Vinyl - 1962 - RCA Victor LPM-2392 Comments: The record has been cleaned and fully play tested. The album cover shows some wear. The vinyl is in real nice shape though, and plays well with great sound. This is the 1962 Hollywood pressing as is indicated by the matrix numbers and the tiny "H" in the runout. There is no "Hugo and Luigi" logo on the labels. Visual Record Condition: The vinyl is glossy and graded high-end VG+. There are some light surface scuffs that don't have much affect on play quality. The light scuffs don't show up well against the gloss in my photos. Record Labels Condition: The record labels look good with mild wear and a few spindle tracks. There are a few small scrapes on the Side 1 label. Record Condition For The Ears: General background record surface noise is negligible in the music and very mild in the silence between songs. The record reproduces the music with clean and excellent sound quality. The songs and performances are wonderful. The listening experience was very satisfying. There were no skips or sticks, of course. Jacket Type and Condition: The record is housed in a standard LP jacket. I graded the album cover lower-end VG. There is ring wear on the front. I don't see any writing on the cover. There are no significant creases. Corner wear is moderate. Edge wear is heavy (see photos). The top edge has worn through for over half of its length. The bottom edge is very worn, but not all the way through. Some of the lettering on the spine has worn off. The album has been placed in a brand new, protective poly outer sleeve to help prevent further wear. Inner Sleeve Type and Condition: The printed paper inner sleeve appears to be original. Wear to the inner is very light. There are no seam splits on the inner sleeve. I've placed the record in a new, high quality poly inner sleeve for storage and shipping purposes.
