Description: Vintage Kowa Prominar Anamorphic Projector Lens & Tube ITEM DETAILSThis is a big long vintage lens made for a 35mm film projectorIt features anamorphic squeeze and is frequently adapted by enthusiasts for use on modern cinema cameras for an anamorphic effect mimicking vintage movie cameras. This one includes a threaded tube for extra length, as well as part of a collar on the tube We don't know the precise thread size, but it is about 67mm in diameter at the exterior of the threads, measured by hand.The focus ring is marked with 50-350 ft. indications. Made in Japan CONDITION NOTES The exterior metal parts are very scratched and stained, obviously heavily used. Cosmetically the metal parts are quite ugly. There are some specks in the lens, most notably the small one seen in the rear portion in the 11th photo. It looks mostly clear when shining a light through it, we don't see haze or fungus or scratches on the glass. The collar on the included tube is very beat up and discolored.Shipping carrier may be changed depending on your region.
