Description: So first, Lamp does not change colors like is should. Also, 12v adaptor that plugs into the wall gets hot, I'm assuming it's because the motor is trying to spin but isn't, not sure. If you look at the photos of the inside of the lamp, that little colorful disk is supposed to spin which changes the colors of the fiber optic bloom strands. The little motor that spins the disk is not working. So please note that it needs some attention when considering purchase. Cool lamp though, Chrome base is about 8" in diameter and with the fiber optics, the lamp is not quite 12" tall. Base itself is about 4" tall. Chrome looks good for its age.
