The blades are made in Japan from high quality surgical steel and are marked Parker Cut. Co. The 7 razors have mother of pearl attached to brass for the scales. The spine of the blades are engraved with the individual days of week. The face of the blades are each engraved with the trademark eagle with a banner in its beak "Eagle Brand Cutlery." This set includes an eighth razor, The Parker Cutlery Co. "The Improved Eagle Razor." The bonus razor blade is etched with an eagle and the words "The Improved Eagle Razor." The extra razor handle is made of appaloosa bone. This set is #055, and the set was made in the late 70's and early 80's. Each of these razors has serial number #055 on them.
