Description: This is a full-sized, ready to cut and sew paper sewing pattern for a stunning 1930s Ladies' evening gown. The gown was originally created by Paris designer Mainbocher who was best known for designing the Duchess of Windsor's trousseau in 1937. Rather have a pdf pattern? Find that on our website. This amazing short-sleeve gown features a slightly rounded neckline trimmed with a ruffled collar (which can easily be left off if you prefer). The short sleeves are gathered for a bit of body. The bodice joins the skirt in a seam concealed beneath a narrow belt. The skirt is truly genius. It has side-to-front diagonal seaming that stops at a slit at both front and back. This is pattern requires no special drafting, just print, tape, cut and sew! Year: 1937. Size: One size only at this time. Bust: 36" Waist 30" Hip: 39". Fabric Requirements: See photos. Difficulty level: Intermediate The instructions are in English. © 2019 Mrs. Depew Vintage LLC. All Rights Reserved.
