Vintage Dooney & Bourke Leather Crossbody Purse Bag Taupe w/ Tan Accents

Description: Offering for sale this vintage Dooney & Bourke All-weather leather bag. This is an Equestrian Tack Bag (model R51) in taupe colored pebbled leather with British tan contrast detailing. It features an “over and under" style closure and a marble bag crossbody/shoulder strap which is adjustable and removable with trigger snaps. This bag has pocket on the back side and one zipper pocket inside the main compartment with two credit card slip pockets. It has the red white and blue "Made in the USA" tag sewn on the inside. This was originally $160 in 1994. All hardware is solid brass including buckles, rivets, D-rings and latch- as well as the hanging brass all-weather duck tag. There is a leather stamped emblem with the words: "Dooney & Bourke All-Weather Leather". There is a small mark on latch side of the bag on the bottom front (a tiny dark freckle that looks like a shadow and may actually be a tiny rub). The leather emblem looks excellent. The hang tag is heavy and has some very minor marks on the front of the duck, some mottling on the backside. The slip pocket is soft and clean inside. The buckle has two minor fine-line wrinkles that look a little bit like slight cracks. It is otherwise excellent. No major scuffs, dirt or other marks to the outside of the bag. The bottom surface is excellent. The strap is also excellent with some minuscule marks here and there. The inside suede lining is clean and soft on the flap. There are some pen marks on the inside bottom of the bag. Card slots and zip pouch look clean and unused. The sewn in USA tag has a tear on one side.
