Unfortunately, I do not know how the books were cared for, where they were kept, if the people had pets or smoked. I check them for condition, and I check for any obvious smells and I try and describe them as good as I can – but this method is not perfect. Please keep this in mind when you bid on any used item – from me or anyone else. Unless the auction says that the item has always been located just in their own home, that it’s impossible to know how that item was kept. Contact the seller in advance if you have any sensitivity to these or other odors before you bid to get as much information as you can. Thank you.
