Description: So Sweet & Feminine! For consideration is a lovely, ivory, chiffon, vintage early 1970's, formal/wedding dress. As you can see it badly needs to be ironed but is in good overall condition for its age. Empire waisted. High collared with a sheer yolk edged in chiffon pleated ruffles. Ivory lace on collar, yolk, empire waist, & sleeve cuffs have ivory, satin ribbon woven thru. Pretty scalloped lace accents. Back zipper closure with intact hook & eyes on back yolk as well as snaps on the wrist cuffs, all in good condition. Fully lined in ivory (acetate?). No labels but is an XS/S sizing (especially in wrist). Please see all of the measurements below for a good fit. Preowned with minor signs of wear: a break in the chiffon 1/2" above the right bottom hem (maybe a slight rehemming needed), a loose bow on the bodice (simple retack it), minor fraying of chiffon inside seams (an easy trimming), very minor thread breaks around the hem area (no attention needed-no negative effects from it). I do not know the history of this preowned item so I cannot say if it is from a pet/smoke free home or not. Thank you for viewing my site.
