Description: This used 1961 Western Electric 760A speaker unit is soft plastic in black ( -3). The bottom is dated and the plastic case is not. The original paper sound batting is present as shown. It was originally manufactured to be used along with a transistorized amplifying power source. Added to the front of this unit is a Leviton toggle on/off switch ---probably to allow the user to turn on and off at the same volume each time. The unit has been tested and the speaker works and provides un-amplified sound at the loudness of a phone transmitter as expected. When found, this unit had a great deal of sticker residue and grime. I has been cleaned and polished but some scratches and differences in shininess remain. Stored and packaged smoke free. I did my best to depict and describe condition.
