VINTAGE 1956 THIRD ED. THE LAW OF SUCCESS NAPOLEON HILL SET VOLS 1-8 VERY GOOD

Description: Thanks for looking! If only things were as simple as being your own man or woman nowadays as these great lessons attribute! Great volume set. 'The Law of Success', by Napoleon Hill, 8-vol. set. Complete set, 8 volumes, are included in this listing. Originally published in 1928, revision published in 1937, and this is the 1956, Third Edition. Ralston Publishing Co., Cleveland, OH. Burgundy red hardcover with gold lettering on front and spine. Here are the sub-titles of each book: Lessons 1: The Master Mind Lessons 2 and 3: Definite Chief Aim, Self-Confidence Lessons 4 and 5: Habit of Saving, Initiative and Leadership Lessons 6 and 7: Imagination, Enthusiasm Lessons 8 and 9: Self-Control, (Habit of) Doing More than Paid For Lessons 10 and 11: Pleasing Personality, Accurate Thinking (Accurate Thought) Lessons 12 and 13: Concentration, Co-Operation Lessons 14, 15 and 16: Failure, Tolerance, Golden Rule Each book is in very good condition. Binding tight, pages clean. Very clean. Because these are vintage and almost antique, I did find the very occasional smudge or series of dots, but I only found about 3 through the whole set, spread out between vols. 3, 5 and 7. I gently leafed through each of the 8 volumes. I did not find any unwanted pen markings, under-linings, highlighter, or unwanted writings of any kind that I could find in the text of the volumes. No writings on text blocks, except for a very small unintentional 1/4" pen mark on the outer text block of vol. 7. There is a very tiny paper anomaly on the outer text block of vol. 8, like a tiny piece of paper chipped off, but it does not infringe on the page. No writings on fly leaves fr/back or title pages. There are areas of outer light book rub spots on a some of the volumes, and a few very shallow light "munch marks" possibly from book worms? or something that got hungry... on the top of about 3 of the books. Spines and edges and corners show light to moderate wear. Volume 8 looks like the first 15 pages had a small run-in at the top corner. Otherwise, there are no intentional dogears, no tears, no paperclip marks. It is obvious these have been used but very gently and seldom, before they sat in storage for a very long time.
