The razor is in very good condition, the plating looks great, please see photos. The Rasolett safety razor has a half round heavy chromium plated razor head and the comb guard for each edge is in the middle of the semicircle. The handle is silver plated. The razor shaves with two DE razor blades, please see detail photos. You operate the razor by holding the razor head with the thumb and forefinger or middlefinger, the handle sits loose in palm of the hand, please see photos. After a stroke down with one edge follows a stroke up with the other edge of the blade. The handle is silver plated. The razor head is marked Rasolett D.R.P. only. The patent was filled under the D.R.P. number 457098, Feb. 23, 1928, for W. Schlake and Dr. A. Spancken, Bielefeld, Germany. The razor comes in its original case and two blade containers- empty and the very rare instruction leaflet. The instruction leaflet is in german language written. The lid of the case is missing some of the velvet linning, please see photos. The case has some minor wear all around, please see photos. The total weight is 169g.
