DESCRIPTION - The book has a leather-like cover, with gold letterin' on spine and cover, and beautifully decorative....The tops of the pages are tipped with gold - - And it has a satin ribbon page marker...Mercy....!!!!.....On the shelf, the book looks like a fancy leather book, but it ain't - but lots of folks will think it is - so don't tell ‘em it ain't - an' they won't never know the differnce.....The book measures 8 1/2 inches high, and 6 inches across front.... .. CONDITION - The ol' fella is in much used condition......The pages are overall good, with the edges darkened, and with what I would call a musty or old book scent........The cover has general wear and use, is cracked along the back hinge, and has a darkened look to it......Also, the book has a lean to it, which goes away when it is placed on the shelf with other books - but this does give the book a shaky feel, so do handle the book with care...........Tho much used, not a bad book........And it looks real purty a-settin' on the shelf - great for display'......And this is one of the more collectable books from this series.........I think you will be pleased with it......This is a display edition, and if read, must be opened and handled properly, or the hinges may crack or split....
