US WW2 82nd Airborne Stripped 502nd PIR? Occupation Era Modified Ike Jacket J557

Description: For sale here is a very neat US WW2 82nd Airborne Occupation Era Modified Ike Jacket. The jacket does have a very legible laundry number, so it is likely researchable. The Insignia looks freshly removed. You can see where everything was, and you can even read the Airborne tab from the uniform impression. The jacket is modified with a spring loaded Crown front zipper and there are Dot Snappers snaps. Also, the exterior pockets are sewn shut, which has also closed the interior pockets. The jacket is nice and clean with no major issues. The snaps and zipper all work. The jacket has clear ghosting of Sergeant chevrons on both sleeves, a tabbed 82nd Airborne patch on the left shoulder, a wide border jump oval that was attached with light blue thread(hence my guess of 502), pin holes from a PUC, collar brass, and a jump wing. Oddly, i cannot see any remnants or ghosting of overseas stripes. Inside, you can't see the maker's tag due to the pockets being sewn shut. You can read the laundry number A6771 multiple times. No research has been done.
