It is time to sell off many of them! This is an amazing pair of cables! They can transform your listening room into the very studio where your source music was performed and recorded! This Transparent Reference XL MM2 balanced interconnect is still considered to be one of the best interconnects in the world! This pair is in unused uninstalled, fully functional condition! They are pristine! See photos. I do not have the original Transparent Black Box - I only have the regular shipping box that Transparent used to return the upgraded cables. I acquired these cables from the original owner who had them upgraded from MM to MM2 technology by Transparent in 2008. See photos. He never installed them and neither did I. Also, per Transparent Cable, they are set up for Audio Research valve amplification or the equivalent. At the time these cables were created Transparent offered 3 Reference levels. Reference, Reference XL and Reference MM cables and each level could contain MM or MM2 technology. These specific cables are marked MM on the network boxes but have been upgraded to MM2 technology by Transparent! And please notice that these have the sexy rounded network boxes as opposed to the original rectangular Reference XL network boxes! As I recall, the msrp on this rare 50' pair of Transparent Reference XL MM2 Music Link was well into 5 figures. Interestingly, a current 3-ft pair of entry level Transparent Reference XLR interconnects has an MSRP of $6,400, while a current Transparent Reference XL 3 ft pair has an MSRP of $13,000. Imagine what a 50 ft pair would cost these days! These world-class interconnects can be yours for a song (no pun intended!).
