Description: Tirschenreuth Bavaria 12 Salad Plates -Red Band, Floral Bouquet, Embossed Gold This is a beautiful set of 12 Sald plates made by Tirschenreuth of Bavaria. Each are signed on the plate, "Decorated in Own Studio". They feature an embossed gold leaf design at the edge. A red band is on the border followed by a gold ring at the shoulder. There is an ivory background below that filled with an encrusted gold fancy scroll design. There is a gold ring, then a thinner gold ring about the center of the plate where inset is a multicolored floral design. There is a lot going on on this plate that took a lot of work to make. Each is beautiful.Set is in excellent condition with no chips, nicks or cracks. The gold looks very good as well. Please view the photos for a better description. I have other neat things listed.
