The Hour Before the Dawn, Original 1944 Lobby Card, WWII Drama, U.S 11" x 14"

Description: Pictured is an original 1944 lobby card from the Paramount Pictures movie, "The Hour Before The Dawn" starring Veronica Lake, Franchot Tone, Binnie Barnes, Henry Stephenson and David Leland. The movie is based on the Somerset Maugham novel which tells the story of a Nazi spy, Dora (played by Veronica Lake) who marries a pacifist English school teacher, Roger Heatherton (played by Franchot Tone) and tries to commit sabotage by spotlighting an important airfield just before the blitz. The young nephew, Tommy (played by David Leland) sees Dora and escapes from her to tell Roger who rushes to the rescue. This is an authentic studio issued U.S. 11" x 14" lobby card - not a reproduction or poster print. The condition is good to very good with a 1/4" tear at the upper left edge, slight age coloring and corner wear. There is a poster service stamp and writing on the back and an imprint stamp with number at the front lower edge. Please see the pictures.
