The full title of the book as found on the title page is "The History of Birds; their Varieties and Oddities: Comprising Graphic Descriptions of Nearly all Known Species of Birds, with Fishes and Insects, the World over, and Illustrating their Varied Habits, Modes of Life, and Distinguishing Peculiarities by Means of Delightful Anecdotes and Spirited Engravings"! Note that no date is present in the book, but it is believed to be published circa turn of the century or slightly later. The book is in Very Good condition; the binding is tight and all pages are present. There is light foxing throughout the book. The book measures 9" x 6.5" x 2" and will be securely packed and shipped to ensure it arrives in the same condition you see in the photos! This book was part of an incredible estate sale of a home in the Midwest that was built at the end of the Civil War.
