According to the website at stockholmslansmuseum.se: Jean and Carl Bolinder founded Bolinder's Mechanical Workshop on Kungsholmen in Stockholm in 1845. The premises eventually became too small and the factory moved out of the city to have more space. Bolinders bought Kallhäll's farm in Järfälla, which was well located with good communications. At the farm, the factory was built with a foundry, press workshop, stove workshop and power station. Housing was also built for the workers. Manufacturing started in 1909 and consisted mainly of cast iron goods such as wood stoves, stoves and kitchen equipment such as meat grinders, frying pans and pots. The factory grew and eventually became one of the county's largest industries. During Bolinder's time, Kallhäll was transformed from an agricultural settlement with several farms into an industrial town where Bolinder dominated the entire community. The factory was the only employer and owned all the land. The old main building on Kallhäll's farm initially served as summer entertainment for the Bolinder family, but later it was converted into the factory's headquarters. Bolinder's factories were closed in 1956 and today the area has been supplemented with new housing. But the old factory buildings are still there and are used today by various small businesses.This example is F/VF, no gum. Most of my working inventory plus backup stock was sold at public auction. However, I have retained some material that I will be offering for sale. In addition, I have some "new" material that was mixed into lots I have bought for my own collections. I will be listing some of the material in my eBay store at fixed prices. I will also be offering some material at auction, either as single items or mixed lots. There will be many bargains available. There will be large and small lots, some containing similar material, some containing a random mixture, and some containing only one or a few items. The condition will be mixed, but none of the lots will be just accumulations of damaged or faulty stamps (unless specifically listed as such). Items in stockpage or larger lots may be removed and repackaged into glassines to save on shipping costs. A Note about Poster Stamps and Gum: Because many poster stamp collectors are primarily interested in the image on the stamp, the absence or presence of gum on the back is of little concern.
