Description: Send me your Sumiko Starling or BlackBird Moving Coil Cartridge with a broken boron cantilever and for the BIN price your cartridge will be fully inspected, cleaned, retipped, adjusted, and performance tested to assure that it is restored to new condition. This is a full cartridge cantilever tip repair and routine maintenance service in one. I will replace the cantilever with a new boron cantilever and an UPGRADE square shank, low mass, high polish, gem grade, grain oriented, precision ground nude Namiki Shibata III r/R 6/40 µm (.0002” x .0015”) line contact diamond. This is a top of the upgrade line diamond and boron cantilever to bring your Sumiko Starling or BlackBird cartridge back to the records. Note: if your boron cantilever is intact but your diamond is worn on the BlackBird, there is no need to replace the boron cantilever and it’s better not to. I can replace just the diamond with a nude 2.5/75 um diamond for a savings. For the Starling, I can replace just the diamond with a nude Fritz Gyger FG2 diamond. Please check my other listings.
