Description: Siopa Rince Celtic Irish Traditional Folk Step Dance Solo Dress Costume Dublin. This listing is for the Purple/Plum/Black/Pink dress ONLY. Please read....I have worked to describe completely. It is beautiful, but not without some faults :) This dress would be a great "starter" solo dress. It is "older" and shows wear and use as such. Please read description below. I have 4 daughters that at one time were all in dance of some sort and 3 of them in Irish at the same time. So... I will be listing many dance costumes :) I bought this dress preowned. It seems to have been used considerably more than the other one I have listed for sale. Don't get me wrong. It is a beautiful dress. I just want to describe what I see so you are not surprised. I'm also guessing that this Purple dress is older, because the white lining of the bodice is either yellowed from age or from make-up. I tried to take a photo of it, but it doesnt really show in the picture. There is some staining around the sleeves. None of this is noticeable when wearing the dress on stage.Nor really if you are not looking for it. There is some "age" discoloration of the "White" parts of the material. Again, going with age because it is fairly "uniform" over the white parts of dress. Parts of some of the "shiney" inserts on the sleeves in particular, have worn off. They are not the sequins ones but a type of iridescent type "square" material. Please see pictures. It is not noticeable on stage. Quite frankly, I owned the dress for a couple of months before we really realized that sequins and such were missing as there is still the color there. The picture of the Orange and Plum colored dress is for reference of color. The Orange dress is for sale in another listing. Dress with Velcro back "sash." There is a black tulle type material with the black embroidery that cover the dress. Not separate or detachable. The Dress material is polyester. There are pink and black sequins and pink sequin inserts between the pleats. Black iridescent type material for the lining of the skirt. The top in fully lined. The picture with the tag shows somewhat odd discoloration. I don't know if it can be cleaned or not. Please see photos as part of the description. Feel free to ask questions or additional photos. Please note.... measurements are approximate. Measurements were taken on the dress lying flat....so they are not "exact" We are located in North Central Florida so could arrange to try on. But please for serious buyer only. Time is important to all. Dress in NOT returnable. So please ask all questions. I have priced accordingly to description. Again, this is a good starter dress.
