Description: Purchase includes a set of four (4) new metal lug lids for 1 gallon pickle/olive style glass canning jars. Hard to find restaurant grade 110mm (approx 4.25 inner diameter and 4.33 outer diameter) white metals lids with rubberized plastisol food-safe liner on the underside of the lid for sealing. These are not threaded - Each lid has 8 small lugs (thus the term "lug lid") and is made specifically to seal 1 gallon glass canning and storage jars as shown in the listing photos. If the opening of your jar does not look like the one shown here, then these lids will not fit. My wife cans everything and stores all bulk foods in glass - these are the only lug lids she will use. From an aesthetic and quality perspective we haven't found anything better.
