Description: Sandusky Tool No 53 7/8 Inch Cove Molding Plane. This weighs 1 lb 3 1/2 oz unboxed. This is in good condition and was cleaned. There are a few lightly stained spots on the body, but overall nothing too bad. The sole is good and the mouth is factory tight. There is a little chipping on the edge of the depth stop. The iron is clean on the cutting face, but the edge could stand a quick touch up. The wedge is good save for a little mushrooming on the top. This is a solid plane in the right condition. A working and collectible Sandusky molding plane for sure! All items for sale unless otherwise noted are purchased and in most cases professionally restored by me.
