The Rock star camo is a combination of HD camo pattern that fades into a digital camo pattern. you will see the high definition , then some faded camo to the digital The Hydro dipping process is not a perfect process, it looks great and gives some of the deepest details available, however hydro dipping is done in water, and we all know that water and air don't mix. That being said there are parts of the stock that will trap air bubbles, these parts include the recessed areas at the sling attachment points, the knurled grip /butt pad areas and then there's the dip line, this is when the stock is being dipped and the print finally meets causing a line. These are potential issues that ALL dipped parts have. I have taken pics of all the areas that I spoke of to get the best visual description for you to make your decision on if this stock is the one for you or not. THESE ARE SOME THINGS YOU CAN EXPECT FROM A DIPPED STOCK , THERE MAYBE SOME SPLOTCHY SPOTS , THERE MAYBE SOME SMALL SCRACTHES AND THERE MAYBE SOME SPOTS DEEP IN THE CORENERS THAT HAD AIR BUBBLES DURING THE DIP PROCESS SO THERE WILL BE THE BASE COLOR SHOWING THROUG ( LIKE IN THE CORNERS OF THE SLING SLOTS AND THE CORNERS OF THE TEXTURED GRIP AREAS) ALSO THE DIP LINE ON THE BUTTSTOCK MAY HAVE DISTORED LINES. I HAVE TAKEN MANY PICTURES SO PLEASE LOOK THE PICTURUES OVER TO SEE IF THIS STOCK IS ACCEPTABLE FOR YOUR NEEDS . I have discounted this stock. If you intend on using this stock for hunting or a truck/tractor gun , then none of this matters as you will ding the stock in your every day use. THIS STOCK HAS WHAT LOOKS LIKE A GLUE MARKS ON THE BUTT STOCK, THIS HAPPENED IN THE FACTORY WHILE ASSYMBLING THE STOCK This is the true definition of a kick around stock , a hunting stock, or a truck /SxS /4 wheeler gun stock. It will provide break up due to the camo pattern, but will also not lose value if it gets dropped or scratched or stuffed behind a seat. Up for bid is a NEW factory take off Ruger 10/22 stock for the Ruger 10/22 rifle , classic shape with Ruger's ROCK STAR Camo print on it. These are hydro dipped by Ruger, This comes with attachment screw that is colored to the stock, this DOES NOT come with the barrel band. It is meant as a replacement stock, just use the barrel band that is already in place on your existing stock, OR don't use a barrel band--Google what the barrel band does on the Ruger 10/22, it provides NO actual support, it has no true functionality. This is NOT for a bull / heavy barrel. this is for the standard 3/4" barrel , commonly referred to as a pencil barrel.
