Description: From Revell of the USA comes kit #H-235:98. It is the Myasishchev M-4 Russian Cold War nuclear bomber of the 50's and 60's. Due to legendary Russian secrecy, Revell originally misidentified this aircraft as an Ilushin Il-38. Designed by the Soviets to rival the US B-52, this aircraft fell woefully short in range and payload. It was eventually assigned to other duties with the advent of ICBMs. This kit is the "S" kit issue from 1956. A classic Revell kit. A built "Il-38" was even seen on an episode of "Leave It To Beaver". Kit box is in great shape with very little wear and kit is complete with all parts, instructions and decals. HOWEVER the fuselage halves have been glued together and 3 clear parts attached. The assembly is well done and gives you a good head start on the build. The original globe stand is not included but I have included an Atlantis Models re-pop globe stand. Scale is 1/159. A very nice example of the rare kit.
