RARE InterMountain HO CSX MOW GE U18B Locomotive #9507, DCC/DC & Sound/LN In Box

Description: Beautiful & RARE, HO scale InterMountain CSX "Maintenance Of Way" GE U18B Diesel Locomotive, in Like New Condition in Original Box. Road # 9507. Dual Mode model comes factory-equipped with DCC Decoder & Sound installed! It also operates with sound right out of the box using standard analog DC, but I'm sure DCC users will get the most sound benefits by far. Manufactured Exclusively for The Big Little Railroad Shop and Liberty Locomotive Works (see 9th photo), only 100 of this model were ever produced!! Take a look at the photos (enlarged) from all sides and see what you think. (Pardon any camera flash reflection.) ALL factory-installed detail parts appear to be present as loco looks to have been very gently run for just a little while! (Perhaps it has only been test-run several times.) As you can see, the body is in beautiful/"like new" shape. Using only standard analog DC, the loco test-ran beautifully/excellent/smoothly, for just a few feet in both directions on a straight track to confirm it runs and the sound tested great including the engine sounds, horn & bell! The directional headlights illuminate properly on both ends. Also, the front & rear number boards all illuminate nicely, too! Being strictly a DC operator, I could not test using DCC, and so I'm selling this item "As Is", of course. Loco might could use a good lube & oil before being put into service, because it has sat idle in the box for quite a while. As can be seen in last 3 photos, the blackened metal wheels indicate "light" use, and they are also extremely clean! I cleaned all the wheels myself, for optimal electrical pick-up. The model has what look like factory-installed Kadee knuckle couplers with metal coil springs. The add-on horns and cab sunshades are present in a still-sealed baggie (see 11th photo), and will be stored back in the left insert pocket. All the paperwork is included (see 10th photo) and is dated May 6, 2006. Box is lightly shelf-worn, and it still remains in very good/solid condition with window completely intact.
