Description: I think this is a pile of grindstones, it would make sense because these were produced in great numbers in this area. Lacking anthing to scale it with, it could of course be thick washers. You are bidding on a vintage letterpress type block(s) that was used by Richardson Printing in Marietta, Ohio. Please see my other auctions for more great printing pieces. I have a lot of pieces and will continue to list them. All pieces are original with most appearing to be from around 1950-1960s. Most are mounted on wood blocks that are one inch high. Blocks with letterpress printing were always in reverse. The blocks would be used with others to make a mat that was then used to make a plate for printing. All blocks are original and were used in the printing industry.
