Description: This is an original Pleasant Company American Girl Doll named Samantha, manufactured in 1987. She is signed by Pleasant Rowland and Numbered & dated #1639 1987, making her a unique collectible item for all occasions. The doll has brown hair and light complexion, with a height of 18 inches. The doll comes with various accessories including a purse with its' original embroidered handkerchief and 1909 Indian Head Penny still taped to the handkerchief as I had received her, Brown Dress made in Germany 1986, Black shoes, black tights, Burgundy Hat, and her original heart locket pin with mom and dad pictures inside. You will receive her school outfit, lunch pail and food plus her schoolbook pack with books. Her Red Christmas dress and her Xmas Presents Doll and musical box book. Also included is her nightgown. The night gown does have some stains. These are all original pieces from the first issuance of Samantha. With the exception of the Santa Sleigh ornament this entire collection was from Pleasant Company altogether in 1987. She will be packaged in her original opened Numbered box with certificate of authenticity. She is a doll from the Pleasant Co., American Girl Doll product line of 1987. This vintage doll is a must-have for any American Girl collectors out there! I will provide additional photos for serious buyers. I do not and have not altered or enhanced my photos.
