Description: In 1972, EMD celebrated their 50th Anniversary. As such, they held one of their rare open houses. They canvased the country and borrowed a number of locomotives from various museums. These photos, which were turned into postcards, are photos of locomotives displayed at the event. The photos were taken before the open house started (note absence of crowds).
