Description: Your looking at a brand new Union Infantry 114th Pennsylvania Zouaves Advancing at Trail #1 - Britains #31104. At Gettysburg on July 2 1863, General Daniel Sickles ordered his men to move out ahead of the main Union line into what he felt was better ground. This action left the Union line broken at the exact moment rebels under General John Bell Hood slammed into them, putting the entire Union position in peril. In the midst of this could be found the 114th Pennsylvania Zouaves near the Sherfy house on the Emmitsburg Road. The Zouaves made a bold stand but were forced back by Confederate fire and attacks from the front and flanks. In the ensuing melee and retreat some of the unit was captured. These figures capture the intensity of the moment -- with some figures holding their ground while others are advancing/retreating. Note the addition of Mary Teb, the unit's Vivandiere, to round out this impressive offering. The figures are sculpted in approximately 1:32 scale, and are cast in pewter.
