When adjusting the volume coming from the speakers with the volume control knob on the amp, there is a slight scratchy sound WHILE adjusting. Once volume adjustment is set with the knob on the amp the scratching stops and the sound is clear. Volume control is only scratchy sounding coming out of the speakers while turning the volume control on the amplifier. Once the volume control on the amp is set, all sound is clear at any volume.
