I would STRONGLY suggest that if you want to learn more about the history of these custom, hand made boots that you read this Reddit string after searching for Lucchese Date Codes. So these were made while I was in college in 1979 (GO TEXAS TECH RED RAIDERS). They made the journey from San Antonio, Texas to the south end of Florida where they eventually were sold by the estate I bought them from. I have no idea if these were one-owner boots (more important for classic cars I guess). Very cool to see these 45-year old boots show up in my store! If they were my size you would NEVER see them for sale either! lol There is no evidence of a half sole applied to these boots so I assume they are the original soles OR have been completely replaced. The heel caps have definately been replaced but are in VERY GOOD condition. 331-20700
