Description: ABOUT THIS ITEM: This sale is for a lot of 10 different vintage 1920s era fan photos of films stars. Each is an approximately 5" x 7" fan photo from the 1920s. Real photos printed on a heavy stock (like a card stock), these were the photos that movie fans of the day would typically receive when writing the studio or their favorite star. Buyer receives the 10 fan photos pictured above (front and back of each photo is shown). The 10 photos picture: Hal Skelly Jill Esmond Ruth Taylor Raymond Keane Harrison Ford Loretta Young David Rollins Paul Hurst Charles Delaney Mystery Child Actress/Girl To the best of my knowledge any signatures shown on these photos are not authentic, they are either stamped or pre-printed facsimile signatures (not autographed). GRADING - CONDITION: Most of these havea curl to them that should flatten over time. There's a good deal of staining, specks of foxing, and a heavier overall age toning to the Loretta Young piece; soiling and some heavy creasing on Ruth Taylor; a single heavy crease near top left corner on Jill Esmond; corner wear, light soiling, and some very short creases on Raymond Keane. The remaining six photos (Skelly, Ford, Rollins, Hurst, Delaney, Mystery Girl) are all EX+ photos with just touches of corner wear, light overall age toning, and the curl mentioned in the first sentence.
