Description: The Story of Little Black Sambo, children's story by Helen Bannerman Acceptable copy of early 1900's version published by Frederick A. Stokes Company of New York & Philadelphia This was a library copy and is marked Gary Public Library (Gary,Indiana) in several places. No dust jacket. Lots of wear to front and back boards and spine, inside pages have some small tears, small creases, some are loose, and they are soiled from years of little fingers. The library identification is in several places. Despite all this, the story is a classic and still very readable. There are 56 pages. There are colorful illustrations on alternate pages. Three generations of our family, and countless library patrons loved this book and surely, with some restoration- there could be many more as well. Thanks for looking
