Description: Johnson Bros OLD BRITAIN CASTLES Brown Multicolor Cream & Covered Sugar England. Found in very nice used, vintage Condition. No chips, cracks, crazing, fleabites or repairs. The Creamer has a glaze imperfection on the rim (see photo #9) which can easily be mistaken for a chip in the photo-but it is not). The creamer also has discoloration in the bottom (especially the corners (see photo # 10) due to age and use. This discoloration will not be visible with cream in the piece. There are various glaze imperfections about the pieces which is common with this pattern. Please see all photos and use the zoom feature to determine condition. This pattern and color was produced from 1930 until 2003 and is discontinued. Many pieces are becoming increasingly difficult to find. This cream and sugar set will make great replacements or additions to your collection.
