Description: This is a vintage Joe Palooka comic book by Ham Fisher, Vol. 2, #3, published in March 1946 by Family Comics, Inc. (pres. Alfred Harvey). It features the beloved character Joe Palooka and is a great addition to any collection of comics or memorabilia. The book is ungraded and is from the United States. The issue includes stories with Joe involved in the World War II era. A valuable resource for collectors and enthusiasts alike. Condition: Nice vivid cover colors as also the inside pages. Pencil mark on cover in the "A" in Palooka. Looks to be a dealer mark. (Doesn't take away from comic grade). I'm not a professional grader but here's what I can see. Comic is curled do to someone, at one time or more, rolling it up. Outer edge w/ some thumb dents. And some lower edge rolling. Spine has some stress lines, creasing (horizontal and vertical). Back cover, edge stain at spine. Curled do to being rolled. Inside: Looks pretty good. Don't see any normal "fold creasing" but what looks like some "paper shift" creasing near the center pages at the top near the spine (see last picture). It looks and feels like a tight line bump(?). Normal age some light tanning/ browning on inside pages. Maybe a VG.... VG+. Take a look at all pictures and you be the judge. Ask questions before you purchase. We do combine shipping. If you should overpay for actual shipping cost for more than 3.00, I will refund you the difference. We ONLY ship to the USA, lower 48. This the Golden Age Comics, a must-have for any serious collector or fan. Thanks for looking.
