INDIAN CHALLENGER MOTORCYCLE FUEL TANK SIDE SCRIPT DECAL, STICKER, EMBLEM

Description: Up for sale is a set of vinyl decals for the “Indian” script area on the side of the fuel tank of the 2020-2023 Indian Challenger motorcycle. The decal covers the already existing "Indian" script area, with a color of your choice. The decal Does Not Include The Headdress Decal. The decals are cut to order from Oracal 651 Intermediate vinyl, that is a 7-year, 2.5 Mil vinyl, and comes in your choice of 47 different colors, ( See Picture #3 ). The decals are very easy to install and can be done in minutes. The decals cover the "Indian" script writing on the side of the fuel tank and makes the script really “pop”. ( It is the Dark Red portion of the picture above.) ( NOTE: Will Not Fit Two Tone Paint Models, Or Icon Models ). The decals are very durable and will hold up well to normal washing and cleaning. The only enemy is Microfiber. The best material for caring for your decals is soft cotton, like old concert shirts turned inside out, or similar. To install the decals, start by cleaning the fuel tank script area with rubbing alcohol or alcohol wipes to remove any wax or polish that may be present, and clean and wash your hands. 1) Remove decal backing. 2) Apply one or two drops of soap solution, (three drops of Dawn dishwashing liquid, to 10-12 ounces of water), to the back of the decal. Less solution is better than a lot of solution. You just want enough fluid to float the decal into place. Spread the drops of fluid over the entire decal area. 3) Slide the decal into the best position and blot out any fluid and air bubbles with a paper towel and your finger. 4) Apply some gentle heat with a heat gun or hair dryer to seat the decal. Using a credit card or application squeegee, press from center out to edges to remove bubbles and excess soap solution. 5) Continue applying heat until transfer paper can be rolled up against itself and removed, leaving just the decal. 6) Using your finger and some light heat, continue to lightly pass over the script writing until the decal fully adheres to the tank. Any small bubbles will shrink out when the bike is used and parked in normal sun light. 7) Repeat steps 1 through 6 for the other side of the fuel tank. JUST REMEMBER……NO MICRO FIBER, and do not use abrasives or a pressure washer to clean. Decals can be waxed and cleaned just like your paint surfaces.
