Description: Transparent, cleaved Halite crystal. Nice block of pure Halite with an etched exterior surface. If it were to be broken into smaller pieces it would so into smaller cubes with smooth glass like surfaces. Halite is Sodium Chloride or salt. Would be an excellent classroom/teaching sample or to add into a collection. NOTE! I feel It should go without saying, but it will dissolve in water, so keep it dry. 39 grams. 1-1/2" x 1-1/4" roughly. I can combine shipping with other items.
