Description: Outstanding 1930s or 1940s Arts and Crafts era woodblock print of the Boston Public Garden by listed Boston artist Gretchen Cook (b. 1908). Cook studied at the Boston Museum School and with Aldro Hibbard and Phillip Hale. A member of the Copley Society, the Boston Art Club, and the Boston Society of Independent Artists, Cook exhibited throughout New England. This print is signed lower left, titled lower right, measures 7.75" x 9.75" (image size), and is in good condition although the paper has toned/yellowed. Framed as shown.
