Description: Gerz Oktober Feste 1835 lidded ceramic stein beer 9.5" tallThis Gerz licensed stein measures about 9-1/2" tall, the top of the ceramic is 3.6" diameter, the lid is 3.9" diameter, the bottom of the stein is 4.4" diameter. The lid is high quality pewter - 97% tin. There is something else to the left of the Gerz 1862 mark but not well defined and looks like it could A & A or triangles or something else, it is raised. Paper "made in West Germany" label seems to indicate 1949 - 1990 time frame base on some research information I found but can't confirm. Excellent condition, no cracks or chips. Nicks on the top of the lid. A small nick in the design of the front horse's chest of the second wagon on the bottom design line. Light wear on the bottom.
