Description: English ironstone two part fruit cooler (base missing). A very rare piece, unfortunately, the third piece, the pail is missing. These two pieces originally fit into a third larger handled dish. The two pieces work well separately as a bowl and candy dish. A Turners ironstone piece painted in the imari Waterlily pattern, not marked, dating to C.1805. Exceptional gilt work to interior of bowl. The stand not included. The lid and the center piece are in excellent condition, including the gold gilt knop. Minor wear, two under glaze stress marks and imperfections. Measures 7.5" tall and 7.75" diameter.
