Description: Up for sale is my Fender Stratocaster, black with orange pickguard and backplate, perfect for Halloween. The case shown is included. I am still thinning out my herd of guitars, and this one doesn’t get a lot of love as of late. It plays great and seems to hold tune well. The pots could use replacing. The body is marked “Squier”, however, keep in mind when these were made, the Squier MIM were made in the same factory. Some Fenders ended up with bodies marked Squier. To be clear this is NOT a Squier, it was made in the same factory that Made in Mexico Squiers were made in. Could someone in 30 years change the body? Sure, but the serial number does call out the same body color, shown in pics. The body has scratches, nicks, blemishes all over as any 30 year old guitar would. It was used extensively and it shows.
