It is oval - almost boat shaped with sawtooth top edge. The faceted cuts in this bowl converge to a starburst in the center of the bottom! This is heavy and gorgeous! 2.62 pounds and it is not a large bowl! If you love cut crystal, you will love this bowl! I believe it to be Romanian, but others have called it Russian. I do not know anything else about it. It is 6 7/8" on the long side of the oval and 6" on the short side of the oval. And ranges in height from 3 1/4" to 3 3/4" tall. Looks great!
