Description: This Connecticut Electric Inc. UBIZ-2100 2 pole 100 Amp circuit breaker was purchased new at Home Depot and placed in service for 3 months in a Zinsco main panel (as a replacement for a 100A 2-pole Zinsco circuit breaker that had failed after 30 years). This UBIZ-2100 was removed from service when the Zinsco main panel was replaced with a new Square D 200 Amp main panel. When this UBIZ-2100 breaker was removed from the panel the plastic case cracked at the rear left end (please see photos). The crack was subsequently repaired with Loctite Cyanoacrylate cement (i.e., 'super glue') and is mechanically sound. Zinsco circuit breaker by Connecticut Electric Type UBIZ.
