Description: Christman Air System Flight Schedule Jan. 15th 1984. “Christman Air System (SX) May 1, 1984 route map... Christman Air System was founded as Miller Aviation Center and renamed Pitt Airways in 1965 and then Pitt Airlines in 1967. Further name changes included Keystone Commuter in 1969 and then to Keystone Airlines in 1972. The airline began operating under its final name, Chirstman Air System, in 1977 when it was purchased by Walter Christman. Under the name Christman Air System, initial routes linked Pittsburgh with Parkersburg and Wheeling. According to "The Airline Handbook 1985" issued in March 1985 and edited by Paul K. Martin, Christman Air System (at that time) operated a fleet of 3 Beech C-99 turboprobs, 3 Piper Navajo Chieftains and 1 Piper Lance. Despite its long presence as a commuter operator based in Pittsburgh, Christman Air System never affiliated itself with Allegheny Airlines or USAir. Other destinatins served by Christman Air System over the years included Akron/Canton, Beckley, Bluefield, Charlotte, Harrisburg, Pulaski (VA), Shenandoah Valley Airport and Washington (PA). Christman appears to have ceased scheduled passenger operations in 1991.” Card is used in good condition. There is one slight stain from a staple (pictured).
